J'ai pas écrit beaucoup ces deux mois passés. Peut-être vous avez lu quand Rebecca a écrit que j'étais en train de démenager à Montréal. Ou, peut-être pas. En tout cas, vous pensez, “Eh, J'ai pensé que Jen va commencer un nouvel emploi?” Ah, oui, mais il y avait des choses bizarres qui m'arrivent entre Noël et la nouvelle année. Alors, je n'ai pas commencé le job à la bibliothèque publique. En fait, j'ai pas travaillé pour la plupart de janvier. Pourquoi? Parce que j'ai reçu une offre d'emploi d'une université. Et pas juste n'importe quelle université, mais une université dans une ville où je rêvais habiter depuis longtemps. J'ai pas pensé que j'aurais jamais la chance d'habiter là-bas parce que je suis anglophone, et il n'y a pas beaucoup de besoin pour les bibliothécaires anglaises. Mais, la chance est arrivée, et je l'ai pris. Donc, j'habite dans une nouvelle province, et je travaille encore dans un département de référence. C'est ça.

I haven't written much the past couple of months. Maybe you read when Rebecca mentioned that I was moving to Montreal. Mayeb not. Either way, some of you may be wondering what's up with me – wasn't I suppose to start a new job at a public library? Well, yes, I did write that once. But then some weird things happened around Christmastime, and I ended up not starting that job. In fact I didn't really work at all during January. Why? Because I received a job offer from a university. And not just any university, but one located in a city that I've dreamt of living in for a long, long time. I never thought I'd ever get the chance to move and live there because I'm an anglophone, and there really isn't much demand for English-speaking librarians. But, the opportunity did come, and I took it. So, I now live in a new province, and I'm working in reference services. And that's that.
